Delete your account

Deletion is final: your account, recipes, photos and categories are deleted immediately, and can't be restored. In the app it takes two taps; here, a code sent by email.

01What gets deleted

  • Your account and your sign-in: your email address and your password.
  • Every recipe, photo and category of yours, favorites and notes included.
  • Your encryption and recovery keys, so nothing that might be left over can ever be read again.
  • Every sign-in of yours, on every device.

02Have the app at hand?

It's fastest there: open Settings, tap Delete account, and confirm with your password. The deletion happens right away.

03Delete with an emailed code

If you don't have the app or the phone at hand, enter your account's email, and we'll send a 6-digit code to it. Only that code can delete the account, so no one else can delete yours.
